Things To Do in Chicago During Spring

From beautiful gardens to amazing indoor and outdoor attractions, spring is a great time to visit Chicago. But as you know, Chicago is called the windy city for a reason, so make sure you layer up just in case. With that being said, here are some of the best attractions to visit during springtime.

Architecture boat tour

Prices: $25-$50

Location: 400 N Michigan Ave, Chicago IL 60611

Phone: (312) 337-1446

This tour really helps you appreciate the history behind Downtown Chicago. The hosts tell stories of how these buildings came to be, fun facts and cracks jokes here and there. We recommend to check the forecast and dress accordingly. Overall, if you have been living in Chicago all your life, or just visiting for the weekend, you have to try this tour at least once.

Garfield Park Conservatory

Price: Free

300 N Central Park Ave, Chicago, IL 60624

Phone: (773) 638-1766

This place is beautiful....but hot and humid. As you can expect, the Conservatory has to keep the climate like that so the plants can thrive. In fact, it's one of the largest botanical conservatories in the nation. You'll see many exotic plant species, a huge koi pond, and a family of turtles. It's a great activity for all you horticulturalist plant lovers, or just a fun date idea. Oh, plus it's free =)

The Art Institute of Chicago

Price: $25 for Adults, $19 for Seniors, Teens, and Seniors.

The Art Institute of Chicago is one of the largest art museums in the US, as well as one of the oldest. You'll get to see amazing, beautiful, and captivating art. If you have that friend, special someone, or even you that loves anything art, this place is a must. Plus it's surrounded by a lot of great food spots. And with all that walking, you'll be hungry afterward.
