Top Chicago Bars
As you explore this amazing city, you’ll be greeted with beautiful and delicious bars. Whether it's just you, you and friends, or you're trying to keep it lowkey, for a night in the town, these bars are a must to check out.

This rooftop is well known for its view of the marina on Lake Michigan and, of course, the cocktails. On colder days, you’ll be protected by the covered areas to enjoy the views without shivering. The vibe can be chill but with an upscale and dressier tone. The drinks are solid, so if you want to bring a date or significant other, or even a group of friends, you’ll have a good time. Plus, being downtown will have you surrounded with other great restaurants and attractions.

To start, this bar is one of my favorites. The service is on point, the drinks are top-notch, and it's very well hidden from the outside. The Violet Hour can get busy, so if you do want to go, get a reservation. The atmosphere is... Dark, but your eyes will adjust quickly. This place introduced me to absinthe, people say it's not for them but I had a pleasant experience with it. Also, I lowkey judge a bar for its Old Fashion, and this is one of the only bars I’m aware of that knows how to do this drink right. If you can make your customer's initial experience with drinks great, and you can make their favorite drink on point, then they are solid in our eyes.

If you’re into Latin drinks and cocktails, then this place is worth checking out. The atmosphere is laid back, the windows open up to the outside, and natural light and fresh air circulates throughout. The drinks are also very good, with unique and interesting ingredients. I suggest the following cocktails: “Tequila,” “Pisco,” and “Coffee.” Plus the location is great because if you’re hungry, it's within walking distance of many great restaurants.
